Drafts (Coaches Only)

  • Dates, Times & Location to be Determined (Week of March 10th - Tentative).
  • Drafts will only take place if we have enough players & coaches to fill all of the available spots.
  • Notification from a coach, tentative week of March 17th (Depends on if we are able to draft your child’s age group by then.)

Pre-Season Practice

  • Tentative week of March 17th
  • Practice times will not be decided until we draft teams, coaches will select days, and times that are available and best fit their schedule.
  • Teams will usually practice once or twice a week before the season begins but could be more or less depending on the age group, field availability, and the coaches schedule.

Opening Day

  • April 8th, Times to be Determined
  • South Laurel Little League Sports Complex

Season

  • Tentative April 8th - June 7th
  • Games will be played some combination of Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s.
  • Wednesday’s & Saturday’s may be utilized as make up days if needed.
  • Games do not typically begin before 5:30 pm when played through the week. We usually schedule at least 2 games per week but could be 3 depending on the number of teams we have in that particular age group or the possibility of a makeup game that week.
  • Practice times during the season are usually once a week but could be more or less depending on the age group, field availability, and the coaches’ schedule. Offsite practices are allowed if the coach is able to secure another location as field time at the Little League becomes limited due to games being played. Some divisions (Baseball: Minor, Major, Junior, & Senior) (Softball: Coach Pitch, Minor, Major, Junior & Senior) may inter-league with other little leagues and may be subject to play at other facilities other than South Laurel Little League. That will be determined once registration is over and the teams have been drafted.
